Cinnamon powder :

It is dull yellowish brown with aromatic odour and sweet aromatic
taste, characterized by :

   1- Phloem fibres, mostly isolated with thick lignified walls and
       rarely exceeding 30  in diameter.

   2- Sclereids, numerous, isodiametric, unequally thickened and
       lignified.

   3- Fragments of parenchyma, containing starch granules and minute
       acicular crystals of CaOx and accompanied by occasional
       isolated secretion cells.
