Subsequent increase in temp. create chromatographic
separation
*If sample is present in non volatile solvent(ex. volatile oil
inside fixed oil) . Static head space is used.
III-Solid sample: (paste containing volatile sample)
1) Static head space OR purge & trap injector
(2) dissolve in volatile solvent to extract volatile components
