1-inject quickly. Slow injection → band broadening

2-Sample size: It should not be too large to prevent overloading and to

obtain optimum column efficiency

It is determined by type of column:

0.1 – 20 ul packed column

0.001 ul capillary column

3 remove air bubbles in the syringe.

4 solvent used to dissolve sample.(requirments)

•Diluted sample (large sample volume)
*refocusing
* programmed temp. vaporizing injector (PTV )
* solid phase micro extraction (SPME)
