Other routes for the preparation of taxol
• 1- Plant tissue-culture and transformed cultures are
important methods for producing Taxol.
• 2- Taxol is produced by the fungus Taxomyces
andreanae. The yield was very low.
By genetic manipulation of the fungus it may be
possible to improve the production of taxol significantly.
