.Khellin causes photosensitivity
During treatment, exposure to sun or other sources of ultraviolet light
should be avoided
Pregnancy and lactation:
A. visnagae fruits should not be used during pregnancy. As the fruits have
been traditionally used as an emmenagogue (stimulate menstruation in
women).
It is better not to be used by lactating women as safety during lactation has
not been established.
