                           The nose is the main entry to the respiratory area.

                                     The nasal cavity is 120–140 mm deep, extends from the
                                   nasal entrance to the nasopharynx, and is divided into two

                                     sections by a cartilaginous wall called the nasal septum.

                                         The nasal area has a surface area about 160 cm2,

                           It acts as a tool to bring warm moist air into the
                                                   lungs.

                           It is the first organ that filters particles in the inhaled air and
                           also provides a preceding immunological barrier because it

                                        contacts the inhaled air with mucosa
