Structure composition
• Fibrous tunic:
➢ It comprises the transparent, avascular cornea (1/5th the
globe) and opaque sclera (5/6th the globe; white of the eye).
➢ The conjunctiva is a thin vascular transparent membrane
covering the visible part of sclera and extends to the inside
of the eyelids
