    Aromatic compounds such as benzene undergo electrophilic aromatic substitution reactions:
    an electrophile substitutes for one of the hydrogens attached to the benzene ring.

  Electrophile (Electron loving) (E+): electron-deficient species as: Cl+ or Br+ (halonium ion) and
  + NO2 (nitronium ion).
