What are ophthalmic preparations?
They are dosage forms designed to be applied on the external surface of the eye (topical)
administered inside (intraocular) or adjacent (periocular) to the eye or used in conjunction with
an ophthalmic device
All ophthalmic preparations must be sterile and free from foreign particles.
