Twenty years later, Fatima stands at a podium wearing a spacesuit with NASA engraved
upon it along with all of her projects that she crafted in Afghanistan displayed behind her

,her face timid and focused and her eyes concentrated upon Nila, her eyes brimming

with tears and as she blows Fatima a kiss she begins speaking and slowly the frenzied
crowd settles down and shifts its gazes towards her. “Ten years ago, I would have not

believed that one day I would be standing here, however if there were something that I
would consider worth sharing with you all is that never stop working towards what you

want, it is always achievable. Maybe your circumstances might suggest otherwise but
always dare to dream! It is you who creates the opportunities that you will get, keep

believing and working hard regardless of what others believe and say about you or your

gender and you will fly fast and break free of all that is holding you back, your gender
does not define your worth”.

Poem: Knowledge, something they Can't Strip Away

Knowledge, something they can't strip away,

Even if our rights and cold hard cash has been stowed away from us.

But what about them
Those who have already lost all their rights and choices.

Don't they deserve something that no one, no matter how high, can take from them?

Is it truly something no one can strip away?

When only handfuls have it?
Is this only for those who already have all their wishes aligned?

What about them?
