Useful if queues develop. It’s always better than
Americano as it’s a softer brewing process that
delivers much less bitterness in the cup. We serve
it all day keeping an eye not to stretch its life
much beyond two hours, but we’re lucky with our
customer line, it never lasts that long! It’s an
important part of coffee and although never quite

We also spoke to Damon Wilson at Kimbo UK
         who shared some exciting technical
developments with their filter coffee that has seen
their sales flying high. A recent clever technology
working with a British company RTMBruPac and
German airline Sundair has seen Kimbo launch an
in-cup filter coffee system that allows airlines to
brew fresh 100% arabica filter coffee by the cup in
         the airline sector. SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER. 2024 | ISSUE 38 SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER. 2024 | ISSUE 38

Damon explained, “The advantage to the airline is
that without reinventing the trolley service model,
staff can serve a world-famous Italian coffee
brand fresh for each cup without elaborate or Kimbo, RTMBruPac & Sundair
bulky equipment required.” collaborate on filter coffee by the cup
