GETTING AROUND

Please note, there is no public transport in Quinta do Lago within the large ,1800 acre,
estate so we would recommend that a hire car is essential, although many of the res-
taurants and facilities such as the Campus multi sports centre, the lake and the beach
are within 15-20 minutes walk from the villa.

CAR HIRE
There are a number of car hire companies located with their own office at the airport,
where you can collect your car on arrival or have it delivered to the villa. Most have the
cars in their own car parks at the airport but some will bus you to a nearby terminal.
You should also be aware that some of the cheaper companies are not based at the
airport and meet you on the kerbside with a clip board. During the high season months
you should book your hire car in advance as they do run out of vehicles.

(villavermonte.com) with the vehicles they offer, but we could recommend the
following Goldcar, Europcar and Sixt, all of which we have used ourselves.
CYCLE HIRE

Another good way to get around the estate is to hire a bike, as the roads are both quiet
and flat, and the footpaths and trails are not busy. Bikes of all sizes can be hired from
the Bike Shed at the Campus multi-sports centre but should be booked in advance.

YOUR DEPARTURE
To allow the maids to prepare the villa for the next guests, your departure time must
be by 10.00.hrs. but the maids may arrive earlier.
Departure information including returning the key and remote control is in the Wel-
come Envelope which is in the villa on your arrival.
