Shot Smart

Needed: 3 empty shot glasses and 3 full shot glasses in a row – (Full-Full-Full-Empty-
Empty-Empty)

The Bet: Bet your friend that they can't rearrange the shot glasses so that they alternate
between full and empty glasses, (Full-Empty-Full-Empty-Full-Empty). To win the bet,
they can only move one shot glass.

The How: 1. Set up 3 full shot glasses and 3 empty shot glasses in a row respectively,
(Full-Full-Full-Empty-Empty-Empty).

2. Bet someone they can't rearrange the shot glasses so that they alternate between full
and empty glasses, (Full-Empty-Full-Empty-Full-Empty); but they can move only one
shot glass.

3. Let them try in vain.

4. Demonstrate how it works. Pick up the middle, full shot glass and pour the contents
into the middle empty shot glass then place the shot glass in your hand back into its spot.

So only one shot glass was moved and the glasses now alternate between full and empty.
