Time Is Definitely Money

Needed: Your friend has to have an analog watch with hands – NOT a digital watch.
The Bet: You can ask them 3 simple questions about their watch and if they get them
right, they win. If they get them wrong you win.

The How:
1. Ask your friends some general questions about their watch like where did they get it,
how much it costs, are you a person that loves to collect watches, etc.

2. Then tell them that you are going to ask them three simple questions about their
watch, if they get them right, they win. If they get them wrong you win.

3. Question 1: Without looking at your watch, does your watch have a second hand?
They most likely will get this one correct.

4. Question 2: Does your watch have the number 6 on it?

Your friend may get this right but maybe not. There are many face styles on watches.
Some have no numbers on them and others have just a few numbers. Some have Roman
numerals, and some even have strange characters.

Ask your friend to look at their watch and see if they do have the # 6.

5. Next, here is the question that should catch them off guard…

Question 3: Without looking at your watch, what time is it exactly?
Your friend has no real excuse for not knowing this answer because they just looked at
their watch.

As I said, people often don’t pay attention to details, especially if they are looking at
something else. Your friend was most likely looking for the number 6 not the time. You
win!
