Green Tree Fall Leaf Collection Schedule 2021

Green Tree fall leaf collection begins the week of October 25th through November, weather- permitting. Rake your leaves curbside and not on the street. Leaves on the street can create a hazardous situation and it is also a violation of state law. Make certain that your leaf piles are free of twigs, branches, animal waste, and other debris that could jam the leaf collecting machine.
Carnahan Road, Greentree Road, Mans eld Avenue, McMonagle Avenue, Noblestown Road, Pin Oak Drive, Poplar Street and Potomac Avenue are considered high-traf c roads and residents on those roads MUST bag their leaves. Please do not place the bagged leaves at the edge of your yard prior to Thursday evening. However, leaves should be at the edge of the yard by 7:00 a.m. on the day of the scheduled collection.
Public Works will do its best to maintain this schedule, however emergencies requiring immediate attention may cause leaf collection to be delayed. Your patience is appreciated.

Rotary Food Drive
Green Tree Rotary’s Annual Food Drive will be held on Saturday, November 20th. Green Tree residents are asked to place non-perishable food by their front doors by 10:00 a.m. on that day. Green Tree Rotary members will travel the streets of Green Tree collecting the food and taking it to local area food banks.
If you are not going to be home on Novem- ber 11, there are three other ways to donate:
•Drop your non-perishable donations at the Green Tree Public Library during November.
•Call GT Rotary member Barb Bennett at 412-445-6116 to pick up your donations during November.
•Make a monetary donation. Checks should be made out to Green Tree Rotary, c/o Barb Bennett, 281 Ringold Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
Help Green Tree Public Works by following this simple leaf collection tip. Keeping leaves off the curb also prevents catch basin and storm sewer drain blockage.
