errors, lack of insulation
and other problems even
worse than those
anticipated by the
thermal imaging.
Push and Shove?
In the kitchen sink area,
poorly installed fiberglass
insulation left many voids
and openings. The PEX
piping behind the walls
had missing fittings, with
no grommets protecting
the PEX where it passed
through framing mem-
bers. The kitchen sink
also lacked a vent stack.
Contractors removed all
of the plumbing sup-
ply lines throughout the
house, replacing them
with FlowGuard Gold
CPVC pipe and fittings.
