• Inoculate the antibiotic-containing agar plates starting with the lowest
concentration.
• Let the inoculum spots dry at room temperature before inverting the plates.
• Incubate agar plates at 37 1C for 16–20 h.
• Examine the plates for growth the next day.
Results: calculate the MIC for each isolate
