Re-routing:
Finding our way back to Christ.

Psalms 139: 13 says, “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in
my mother’s womb.”
Being of God’s image and born of God’s will, we often fail to be on God’s track.
Unfortunately, many of us ride our life through a wrong path. Finding our way
back to Christ simply means to self-analyze our lives.
On analyzing, we realize our paths. These realizations make a realistic entry
to Christian life. Some ways to re-route to Christ are:
1. Awakening to Help - The most common ministry that Jesus was involved
in his entire life was that of helping others. Helping others doesn’t just mean to
lend money or anything. It also means we help to correct anyone who walks in
the wrong path. Help may have many meanings relating to varying circumstances.
Even if nothing remains, the mind to give out of nothing holds a position in
God’s presence.
2. Awakening to Love – Of the ten commandments given, the greatest one is to
Love our neighbors as ourselves. But have we ever done or realized who our
neighbor is? A neighbor does not simply de²ne the one who stays on the next
door. A neighbor can be anyone who is in need, or lacks anything. We often love
people based on their qualities, race, colour and creed. But loving people no
matter what they are is something that Jesus did and he expects us to do the
same.
3. Confess – Confession of our sins at the feet of Heavenly Father, and
acknowledging that we are sinners is a way to humble ourselves. Realizing that
this life and all in it is just God’s gift, helps us to humble from our “throne” that
rules our lives.
We are all made in the image of God. So our works should reveal God’s image
to others. In this way, our paths will be of God’s will.
