B– GREAT NAKATASHI BRIDGE

The Great Nakatashi Bridge is home to several cus-
toms, traditions and fables. Spanning over 150ft, the
bridge crosses the Takase river and one of the wider
points. Construction on this bridge was completed
five years before construction on the castle began,
and is a crowning architectural achievement of the
family.
D– THE TAKASE RIVER
The Takase River is a canal that stretches 625.1 ft
through Aomori, Japan and Takase River and flows
into Kamo River. It’s basin area is 334.7 mi. sq. and
mouth empties into the Pacific Ocean. The canal
crosses with the several northern Tohoku Rivers
along the way.
