COMPANY SNAPSHOTS
CEO LETTER: CYCLING THROUGH, ALWAYS HERE
I was recently speaking with an execu- tive from a certain cable and internet com- pany, and he made a startling admission. The firm, which offers high introductory pricing before applying hidden fees and raising rates as its contracts mature, fully expects its customers to defect regularly.
The executive and his colleagues know
consumers can leave their company at any
time to obtain new introductory rates from
their competitors. But they also know that
those competitors are going to do the same
thing to consumers, who’ll then defect
back to their original provider for renewed
introductory pricing. Heck, the executive actually suggested I use the back-of-forth strategy to obtain optimal pricing for my own household.
What a headache. And, what a relief to know that Elite Air doesn’t have to resort to such tactics for its own custom- er retention. Now, I’m not suggesting we have a 100% re- tention rate by any means, but time and again we have seen
customers come back to us after trying other management companies. For us, it has nothing to do with sneaky fees or rate creep. We’re the most transparent management company in the business, and often all it takes for our custom- ers to come back is to get a taste of what some of the other guys have to offer.
We are extremely proud to unveil several new aircraft in this newsletter. Two of our long- time owners have upgraded from their already- top-of-the-line Challenger 350s to 3500s, the newest super-midsize jet in Bombardier’s port- folio. The interior upgrades to this aircraft are truly remarkable, and charter clients are going
to love them. We have also added a fifth Legacy to our fleet, a number I never thought we’d see. But our success manag- ing and chartering Legacies is truly second to none, and we have no demand constraints on these birds. To other Legacy owners out there, I say “keep ‘em coming.”
Indeed, to any owners out there, I say, “try other compa- nies. You’ll find your way to Elite Air eventually.”
