Conservation status: The island is within WCNP. numbers recorded to have bred were one pair of White-
Species and numbers breeding: Six seabird species breasted Cormorant, 65 pairs of Crowned Cormorant,
have bred at Caspian Island. Their numbers are given 171 pairs of Kelp Gull, 344 pairs of Hartlaub’s Gull, 530
on the following table applicable to this island. Maximum pairs of Greater Crested Tern and 25 pairs of Caspian Tern.
