Description: White-breasted Cormorants bred on cliff
Cliffs west of Cape Infanta ledges (Brooke et al. 1982).
Coordinates: 34.4631 S; 20.8620 E Conservation status: Not protected.
Description: A point with cliffs on the west side of Cape Species and numbers breeding: White-breasted
Infanta. It was assumed that the records of White-breasted Cormorant, Kelp Gull
Cormorants in 1940 and 1964 breeding on ledges at Cape
Infanta (Brooke et al. 1982) were from this locality. Cape White-breasted Cormorant
Cormorants have since roosted on ledges but not been Year No. of pairs
confirmed breeding (C Hagen pers. obs.).
Conservation status: It is protected, falling within DHNR. 1981 12
