arrangements that are perfect for
families and those wanting a little
more room.
We Will Party Like Champions!
In addition to festivities set against an
alpine mountain backdrop which has
earned the Stein Eriksen the coveted
“2024 United States Best Ski Hotel,”
we will journey off-site on Thursday,
July 30, 2025, for an exciting dinner
and a show at the Utah Olympic
Park. Built for the Salt Lake 2002
Olympic Winter Games, the Park
features an Olympic Winter Games
museum, an alpine slide, ziplines
rides on the bobsled track, and a
whole host of adrenaline-inducing
activities. And finally, no Park City
trip would be complete without a
nod to the Sundance Film Festival.
We are bringing the Sundance to
you in our Closing Gala, with a
red-carpet ceremony befitting Little
Miss Sunshine and Uncle Rico. So
find your dance shoes and get ready
to join Napolean Dynamite for our
closing gala.
At the FDCC, we work hard
and play hard We cannot think
of a better spot to “Train with
Champions,” than Park City, Utah.
Our CLE program is designed to train,
cultivate and inspire the champion
in each of you. Keynote speakers will
include David McRaney, author of
How Minds Change, who will offer
techniques for effective persuasion
in an increasingly polarizing
environment, Justice Elizabeth
Walker from the West Virginia
Supreme Court, and 2024 ESPN
Sports Personality of the Year, Holly
Rowe. We will present programs on
the dangers and legal ramifications
of deep fakes, the use of cutting-edge
technology in trial, navigating the
hours, days and weeks immediately
following a verdict or crisis, and the
impact of recent Supreme Court
decisions on our civil defense
practice. You will hear presentations
on maximizing the First Golden
Minutes in trial or at oral argument.
Our program will offer you a boot
camp of training opportunities with
champions from inside and outside
the FDCC on cutting edge techniques,
legal developments and advocacy.
We can’t wait to see you all
in Park City!
