OVERALL MATERIALS
HOW IS IT CRUCIAL?
The overall materials of my cap will have to be flexible, durable, sustainable and water proof. Materials with these traits are mostly plastics and polymers, this is what ill be using. I will also need my design to be able to protect the user from the sun the material is a huge part to this process, if I pick the wrong material it could be catastrophic to the wearer.
FITTING ADJUSTMENTS
HOW IS IT CRUCIAL?
For my cap to fit the user I will implement an
elastic band into the cap so that it fits the users head stopping the cap from falling off the users head.
HOW AND WHO?
I will be using the Internet as my main source of information to find out which material best suits my design.
HOW AND WHO?
Fitting the cap to the users head will be tested on myself and also my brothers head this is so i can evaluate the most suitable fitting technique for the persons head.
I will be investigating my target market on the beach to identify the sizes needed for my design.
