Safety Procedures - Pre Training

• Each officer or participant does a self check / pat down to confirm he or she
does not have anything live or lethal on their person.

• Officers or participants pair up and do a law enforcement style search of each
other to confirm he or she does not have anything live or lethal on their
person.

• The safety officer in charge does a final search of each officer and does a law
enforcement style search of each other to confirm he or she does not have
anything live or lethal on their person.

Safety Procedures - Pre Training

• All weapons to be used are checked and confirmed to be non-lethal training
weapons by not less than two (2) instructors and/or safety officers.

• All training ammunition is checked and accounted for.
• After all the pre-training safety procedures are completed the officers and/or
participants are permitted to enter the training environment.
