- Do not undervalue or undersell your service
- Investigative work has the same general value for new investigators as seasoned investigators
- Standard hourly rates are $95.00 - $125.00 or higher for very specialized fields of work
- It takes 4 jobs at $25.00 to make as much revenue as $100.00
- Don’t sell by the hour
- Sell by the retainer
- Retainer should include everything you anticipate you need to complete the case
- Investigation Time, Travel Time, Research Time, Report Time, Video Time, Case Management
Time, Mileage & other expenses.
