Pasquaney Garden Club Annual Plant Sale
On April 22nd, Ed Rushbrook, from Gilford, NH, donated this portrait of Arro the police canine to
the Bristol Police Department. This is not the first time that this artist has created a portrait of a dog. After being in touch with the staff at Walter Reed Hospital, he was given contacts of handlers of Military Service dogs. He has done several portraits of these brave dogs and presented them to their respective handlers.
It's officially Spring and the weather is finally getting warmer. We have started flower, herb and vegetable seeds and continue to water seedlings at the Bridgewa- ter/Hebron School Greenhouse. Plants will be used for the Bris- tol Community Garden and to beautify downtown Bristol in various planters and gardens.
The Pasquaney Garden Club Annual Plant Sale will be Satur- day, June 5th, 8 am to 12 noon at
the Butterfly Garden behind the Minot-Sleeper Library. We will be selling perennials, annuals, herbs and vegetable plants. This is the club's primary fundraiser. Money is used to maintain the Butterfly Garden and other local planted areas, in addition to funding our annual charity do- nations.
