The Newfound Area Churches CROP Hunger Walk
The Newfound Area Churches CROP Hunger Walk will be held on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at 1 PM starting in Bristol Square. Information about reg- istering and soliciting pledges is available at the following churches, Hebron (Union) Con- gregational, Alexandria Method- ist, New Hampton Community, Our Lady of Grace, and the
Bristol United Church of Christ. Looking to make a differ- ence in our local community and in communities worldwide, the Newfound Area Churches CROP Hunger Walk has set a goal of 25 Walkers and hopes to raise $3000 to help end hunger and poverty through long-term sustainable approaches to sig- nificantly reduce or eliminate
hunger. A portion of the funds raised at this walk will go to the food pantry at the Bristol Com- munity Services.
This year the Newfound Community and some 1,000 other communities nationwide are joining together in interfaith
CROP Hunger Walks around the theme “Ending hunger one step at a time.” These local minis- tries share in the funds raised by CROP Hunger Walks.
