When I first met the residents on the virtual social hour, it was obvious that
they were genuine friends and were passionate about helping each other
succeed. Since starting residency, all my hopes about the program have
proven true! The people here are there for you on the hard days and
celebrate with you on the good ones. It is such a treat to be able to work with
my friends. Also, it was important to me to go to a program that had a stand-
alone children's hospital and a competitive medicine program. I knew that if

I chose UCSD/Rady I would receive excellent training in both medicine and
pediatrics. This has absolutely been true, and I feel that I will be prepared to

move on to the next phase of my career when residency ends. Plus, San Diego
