Are Spontaneous Activities Planned?
True spontaneity is not planned. However, the commitment to do something spontaneous can be! When Eric Haider was the administrator at Crestview Home Inc, in Bethany, MO, he asked his teams to conduct a spontaneous activity every day. Even though it is ironic to mandate spontaneity, it is also brilliant. It makes for very exciting living! When you wake up, you know something special will happen today, but you don’t know what!

Spontaneous Fun
On a warm day, Stolzer household residents from Meadowlark Hills decided to get outside for a bit. But the sun was just too hot, so they decided to go down to the North building where there are nice porches that over look the South campus.
Stolzer residents are known in their community to be troublemakers and this afternoon, they would live up to their reputation. Stolzer recruited a staff member to go down to HR to lure some unsuspecting victims to the front porch for an old-fashioned water balloon ambush. As the HR ladies exited the building from below the porch, the Stolzer residents could see them appear. They took aim and fired! The poor HR ladies never saw it coming. The Stolzer residents rejoiced
in their triumph and returned home heroes and a little sweaty. (No HR ladies were harmed in the making of
this great afternoon.)
