Family Council
Some Family Councils are more successful
than others, often depending on the interest and commitment of the family members.
Time, like for any of us, tends to be the most common barrier. There is no federal regulation that requires a family council. However, some state licensure regulations might require them in homes with secure areas serving persons with dementia. As we’ve previously stated, when a family council exists, federal Tags 243 and 244 apply.
