“ng” Words
An Interesting Spring Day
One spring morning, I woke up to birds singing in the long
grass outside my window. It was very interesting to hear their
different songs. When I went outside to hang up the washing, I
noticed a young girl who looked lonely. When I asked her what
was wrong, she said that her uncle had sent her to buy a ring to
his darling daughter, but that she had gotten lost on her way
back. So, I had said to her that I just wanted to hang up the last
thing and then I would help her on her way. Suddenly, there was
a BANG! It was thunder and lighting. So, while we waited for the
storm to pass, we sang songs together. She was a
good singer. When evening came we grabbed some
food, so we wouldn’t get hungry, and we set off on
our way to her uncle carrying his daughter’s ring.
