v.     Hypertension as a Stroke Factor



                                      This page highlights the significance of hypertension in increasing the
                                      likelihood of experiencing a stroke. A "map" visualisation displays the

                                      global  distribution  of  hypertension,  while  "bar  charts"  illustrate  the
                                      nations with the highest average prevalence of hypertension. A line

                                      chart examines the temporal pattern of hypertension prevalence and its

                                      relationship  with  stroke  death  rates,  highlighting  the  importance  of
                                      controlling hypertension in preventing strokes. Figure 4.40 illustrates a

                                      snapshot  of  the  page  that  discusses  hypertension  as  a  contributing
                                      factor to strokes.
