The machine learning algorithms employed in this project include linear

regression and random forest. Linear regression proves to be the more

accurate algorithm for predicting crime patterns against women in India, with
an accuracy rate of 83%. The project demonstrates scalability as the system

can handle increased data load and provide accurate predictions.

Overall, this project aims to provide insights into the various types of crimes

against women in India and aid in decision-making processes for crime
prevention. By analysing the data and visualizing the trends, government

officials and law enforcement agencies can take proactive steps to mitigate
the threats faced by women. The application of machine learning algorithms

and the development of the web portal contribute to creating a safer
environment for women in India. Future work may involve conducting

analysis at a district level and incorporating user statistics into the application

for further enhancements. Figure 2.14 depicts the user interface of the web.
