STUDENT LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
Our Student Leadership Team including House Captains, SRC and Prefects, were given the opportunity to participate in our first overnight Student Leadership Conference at Jamestown last week. Our students met with the Student Leadership Team from Jamestown Community School and discussed how their leadership team was involved in community and school-based projects. The conference provided an excellent opportunity for the students to network, participate in interactive workshops and engage in meaningful discussions.
One of the conference’s highlights was our guest speaker, Ali Cooper, who
spoke about the importance of communication and commitment in leadership.
Ali Cooper is a highly respected business owner and leader, operating eight businesses in 3 Australian states. During her session, our students explored the fundamental principles of effective communication and how they can be applied to various leadership situations. Students were also taught about the importance of commitment in leadership and how leaders can build a culture of responsibility within their teams. Our students also heard from Mr Ayoub about the importance of servanthood in leadership.
The Jamestown Leadership Conference was a valuable experience for the Student Leadership Team, providing them with the tools, knowledge and insights they needed to become influential and inspiring leaders in their schools and communities.
