Pleasant Words from the Gospel


























                   commit adultery," also said, "Do not murder." If you do not
                   commit adultery but do commit murder, you have become a
                   lawbreaker. (James, 2:10-11)

                   ... These make a man 'unclean.' For out of the heart come evil
                   thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false tes-
                   timony, slander. These are what make a man 'unclean.' (Matt-
                   hew, 15:18-20)


                   He [Jesus] went on: "What comes out of a man is what makes
                   him 'unclean.' For from within, out of men's hearts, come evil
                   thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed,
                   malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly.
                   All these evils come from inside and make a man 'unclean.'
                   (Mark, 7:20-23)

                   Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts, their
                   sexual immorality or their thefts. (Revelation, 9:21)

                   Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain

                   the knowledge of God [God is beyond that], He gave them over
                   to a depraved mind. They have become filled with every kind
