Pleasant Words from the Gospel

mandment there may be, are summed up in this one rule: "Love
your neighbor as yourself." (Romans, 13:9)

He who overcomes will inherit all this... But the cowardly, the un-
believing, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who
practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—their place will be
in the fiery lake of burning sulfur [hell]. This is the second death.
                   (Revelation, 21:7-8)

Outside [outside paradise] are... those who practice magic arts,
the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone
who loves and practices falsehood. (Revelation, 22:15)

Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of
God [paradise]? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral
nor idolaters nor adulterers ...nor thieves nor the greedy nor
drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of
                   God. (1 Corinthians, 6:9-10)

For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one
point is guilty of breaking all of it. For He Who said, "Do not com-
mit adultery," also said, "Do not murder."... (James, 2:10-11)

It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you,
and of a kind that does not occur even among pagans: A man has
his father's wife. Shouldn't ...you have put out of your fellowship
the man who did this?... I have written you in my letter... that you
must not associate with anyone who calls himself a brother but is
sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a slanderer, a drunk-

ard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat. (1 Corinthi-
                   ans, 5:1-11)
