Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Hon-
or one another above yourselves. (Romans, 12:10)

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love
comes from God. Everyone who loves... knows
God.   Whoever does not love does not know God,
because God is love...   Dear friends, since God so
loved us, we also ought to love one another. (1
                             John, 4:7-11)

And this is my prayer: that your love may abound
more and more in knowledge and depth of in-
                             sight.   (Philippians, 1:9)

[Jesus:] "A new command I give you: Love one an-

other. As I have loved you, so you must love one
another. By this all men will know that you are my
disciples, if you love one another." (John, 13: 34-35)

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it
does not boast, it is not proud.   It is not rude, it is
not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps
no record of wrongs.   Love does not delight in
evil but rejoices with the truth.   It always pro-
tects, always trusts, always hopes, always perse-
veres. Love never fails. (1 Corinthians, 13: 4-8)

But the man who loves God is known by God. (1
                             Corinthians, 8:3)

If you love those who love you, what reward will
you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing

that? And if you greet only your brothers, what are
you doing more than others?... (Matthew, 5:46-47)
