Pleasant Words from the Gospel

... If we love one another, [God's] His love is made complete in us.
(1 John, 4:12)

And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His
love into our hearts... (Romans, 5:5)

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love.
Whoever lives [for God's sake] in love lives in God... (1 John, 4:16)

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe
yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and
patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances
you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave

you. And over all these virtues put on love... (Colossians, 3:12-14)
We love because He [God] first loved us. If anyone says, "I love
God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not
love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, Whom he has

not seen. And He has given us this command: Whoever loves God
must also love his brother. (1 John, 4:19-21)
