Pleasant Words from the Gospel
demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,
neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation,
will be able to separate us from the love of God... (Romans,
8:38-39)
... We know that we all possess knowledge. Knowledge puffs
up, but love builds up. (1 Corinthians, 8:1)
Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt
to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has ful-
filled the law [God's commandments]. (Romans, 13:8)
This is love for God: to obey His commands. And His com-
mands are not burdensome. (1 John, 5:3)
Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth
so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one an-
other deeply, from the heart. (1 Peter, 1:22)
Show proper respect to everyone: Love the brotherhood of be-
lievers, fear God... (1 Peter, 2:17)
Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; having
compassion one of another, love as brothers, be compassionate
and humble. (1 Peter, 3:8)
This is the message you heard from the beginning: We should
love one another. (1 John, 3:11)
Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue
but with actions and in truth. (1 John,
3:18)
