seen him, you love him; and
even though you do not see him
now, you believe in him and are
filled with an inexpressible and glorious
joy. (1 Peter, 1:7-8)

If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his
brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does
not love his brother, whom he has seen,
cannot love God, whom he has not seen.
And he has given us this command: Who-
ever loves God must also love his broth-
er. (1 John, 4:20-21)

... I am not writing you a new command
but one we have had from the beginning. I
ask that we love one another. (2 John, 1:5)

Keep on loving each other as brothers. Do
not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some peo-
ple have entertained angels without knowing it. Remember
those in prison as if you were their fellow prisoners, and
those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffer-
ing. (Hebrews, 13:1-3)

May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for
each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you.
(1 Thessalonians, 3:12)
