I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the
body and after that can do no more. But I will show you

Whom you should fear: Fear Him Who, after the killing of the
body, has power to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear
Him. (Luke, 12:4-5)

... So you must live in reverent fear of Him during your time
as "foreigners in the land." (1 Peter, 1:17)

Show proper respect to everyone: Love the brotherhood of be-
lievers, fear God... (1 Peter, 2:17)

... to every nation, tribe, language and people. He said in a loud
voice, "Fear God and give Him glory..." (Revelation, 14:6-7)

[Jesus:] "Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot
kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One Who can destroy
both soul and body in hell." (Matthew, 10:28)

For the Mighty One [God] has done great things for me—holy

is His name. His mercy extends to those who fear Him, from
generation to generation. (Luke, 1:49-50)
