urge you, brothers, to submit to such as these and to everyone
who joins in the work, and labors at it. (1 Corinthians, 16:15-16)

And we are sending along with him the brother who is praised

by all the churches for his service to the Gospel. What is more,
he was chosen by the churches to accompany us as we carry the
offering, which we administer in order to honor the Lord
Himself and to show our eagerness to help. (2 Corinthians,
8:18-19)

You know that Timothy has proved himself.. He has served
with me in the work of the Gospel. (Philippians, 2:22)

Those who have believing masters are not to show less re-
spect for them because they are brothers. Instead, they are to

serve them even better, because those who benefit from their
service are believers, and dear to them. These are the things
you are to teach and urge on them. (1 Timothy, 6:2)

... On the contrary, when he was in Rome, he searched hard for
me until he found me. May the Lord grant that he will find
mercy from the Lord on that day! You know very well in how
many ways he helped me in Ephesus. (2 Timothy, 1:16-18)

... So that any favor you do will be spontaneous and not
forced. (Philemon, 1:13-14)

God... will not forget your work and the love you have shown
Him as you have helped His people [those who devote them-

selves to God] and continue to help them. We want each of you
to show this same diligence to the very end, in order to make

your hope sure. We do not want you to become lazy, but to im-
itate those who through faith and patience inherit what has
been promised. (Hebrews, 6:10-12)
