is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be
tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempt-
ed, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up un-

der it. (1 Corinthians, 10:11-13)

Even from your own number men will arise and distort the
truth in order to draw away disciples after them. So be on your
guard! Remember that for three years I never stopped warning
each of you night and day... "Now I commit you to God and to
the word of His grace [commandments possessed of God's rev-
elation], which can build you up and give you an inheritance
among all those who are sanctified. (Acts, 20:30-32)

Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day [the

day of judgment] or the hour. (Matthew, 25:13)

Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping.
"Could you men not keep watch with me for one hour?" he
asked Peter. "Watch and pray so that you will not fall into
temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak."

even more. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not

open. Therefore consider carefully how you listen [God's com-
mandments]. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does
not have, even what he thinks he has will be taken from him."
