To Help Others

Nobody should seek his own good, but
the good of others. (1 Corinthians, 10 10:24)

He [Jesus:] "... Freely you have received, freely give."
(Matthew, 10:8)

The poor you will always have with you, and you can help
them any time you want. (Mark, 14:7)

Share with God's people [the ones who devote themselves to
God] who are in need. Practice hospitality. (Romans, 12:13)

You yourselves know that these hands of mine have supplied
my own needs and the needs of my companions. In everything
I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help
the weak, remembering the words... Jesus himself said: 'It is
more blessed to give than to receive.' (Acts, 20:34-35)

But if a widow has children or grandchildren, these should
learn first of all to put their religion into practice by caring
for their own family and so repaying their parents and grand-
parents, for this is pleasing to God. (1 Timothy, 5:4)
