Pleasant Words from the Gospel
... The Gentiles may glorify God for His Mercy, as it is written:
"Therefore I will praise You among the Gentiles; I will sing
hymns to Your Name." Again, it says, "Rejoice, O Gentiles,
with His people." And again, "Praise the Lord, all you Gen-
tiles, and sing praises to Him, all you peoples." (Romans, 15:9-
11)
And there was a woman who had had a disabling spirit for
eighteen years. She was bent over and could not fully straight-
en herself. When Jesus saw her, he called her over and said to
her, "woman, you are freed from your disability." And he laid
his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and
praised God. (Luke, 13:11-13)
One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising
God in a loud voice. (Luke, 17:15)
When the crowd saw this, they were filled with awe; and they
praised God, Who had given such authority to men.
(Matthew, 9:8)
For they heard them speaking in tongues and praising
