Unbelievers Seek to Kill or Exile Believers

... [Believers] honored the word of the Lord; and all who were
appointed for eternal life [paradise] believed. The word of the
Lord spread through the whole region. They [unbelievers]
stirred up persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and ex-
pelled them from their region. (Acts, 13:48-50)

[Jesus:] "Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and
put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of
me [because you obey me for the approval of God]." (Matthew,
24:9-10)

[Jesus:] "But before all this, they will lay hands on you and per-

brought before kings and governors, and all on account of my
