The sharpness of sight in the hereafter:

GOSPEL: Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror;

then [in the hereafter] we shall see face to face. Now I know
in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known... (1
Corinthians, 13:12-13)

QURAN: [On the Day of Threat, they will be told,] 'You were
heedless of this so We have stripped you of your covering and
today your sight is sharp.' (Surah Qaf, 22)

The dwellers in hell ask believers
for water:

GOSPEL: In hell, where he was in torment, he looked up and
saw Abraham far away [in paradise], with Lazarus by his side.
So he called to him... 'Abraham, have pity on me and send
Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my
tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.' (Luke, 16:23-24)

QURAN: The companions of the Fire will call out to the com-
panions of the Garden, 'Throw down some water to us or
some of what Allah has given you as provision.' They will
say, 'Allah has forbidden them to the unbelievers.' (Surat al-
A'raf, 50)
