he Lord graced our Prophet (saas)
with in com pa ra ble bless ings. Our
Prophet (saas) showed his
Companions many mir a cles, one of which
was the ef fi ca cy of his prayers.
His prayers for rain were an swered
Like all oth er pro phets, our Prophet (saas) had an in -
ti mate bond with Allah; he was a sin cere ser vant with
deep faith and in tense fear of and re spect for
Allah. The Lord grant ed his prayers, which en -
a bled his Companions and oth ers around him
to wit ness mir a cles. For ex am ple, Sahih
Bukhari and Sahih Muslim re late the fol -
low ing from Anas (ra):
A man en tered the mosque on Friday while the
Prophet was ad dress ing the peo ple. The man
said: "O Messenger of Allah, our wealth
has been de stroyed and we have no
trans port to the mar ket place. Pray
for rain for us." The Prophet
raised his
