nly Allah knows the Unseen, de fined as

what hap pened in the past and what will
hap pen in the fu ture:
The keys of the Unseen are in His pos ses sion. No one
knows them but Him. He knows ev ery thing in the land and
sea. No leaf falls with out His know ing it. There is no seed
in the dark ness of the soil and noth ing moist or dry that
is not in a Clear Book. (Surat al-An'am: 59)
Allah cre at ed time and taught the con cept to hu -
man be ings; how e ver, He ex ists apart from it. All
knowl edge is hid den and pre served in Allah's

pres ence; ev ery thing that hap pens any where
in cre a tion is con tained in His knowl edge
and is un der His con trol. He knows the
se cret of ev ery thing. Certainly it was a
mir a cle that our Prophet (saas) knew the
Unseen to the ex tent that the Lord
willed:

He is the Knower of the
Unseen and does not di vulge
His Unseen to any one –
